چکیده

The aim . To assess the relationship between body mass index (BMI) and gut bacteria in men women with obesity. Materials methods study included 56 overweight patients, divided into 2 groups. first group consisted of 27 (the average age was 62 ± 2.2 years), second — 29 55 9 years). Quetelet (kg / m ) calculated for all patients. microbiome, method polymerase chain reaction real time (RT-PCR) metagenomic sequencing were used. DNA from feces isolated using Express-DNA-Bio isolation kit (AlkorBio, Russia). carry out RT-PCR, a set reagents “Colonoflor-16” (“Alfalab”, Russia) For microbiome sequencing, libraries prepared Illumina Nextera Sample Preparation Kit primers corresponding to V3 V4 regions 16S rRNA gene. fecal samples carried gene on platform (MiSeq sequencer). Results It revealed that higher total number bacteria, an increased content Bacteroides fragilis Faeca-libacterium prausnitzii, is statistically significantly more common than men. Strong negative correlations found BMI bacterial mass, among grade I In men, correlation Faecalibacterium prausnitzii ratio. Conclusions patients have significant associations BMI, probably can affect formation metabolic disorders greater extent clarify identified trends patterns this pilot study, further large additional analyzes metagenome (16S rRNA) metabolome, transcriptome, allowing control expression key enzymes, largely associated compositional features microbiocenosis, required.

The obese gut microbiome across the epidemiologic transition.

The obesity epidemic has emerged over the past few decades and is thought to be a result of both genetic and environmental factors. A newly identified factor, the gut microbiota, which is a bacterial ecosystem residing within the gastrointestinal tract of humans, has now been implicated in the obesity epidemic. Importantly, this bacterial community is impacted by external environmental factors ...

assessment of the efficiency of s.p.g.c refineries using network dea

data envelopment analysis (dea) is a powerful tool for measuring relative efficiency of organizational units referred to as decision making units (dmus). in most cases dmus have network structures with internal linking activities. traditional dea models, however, consider dmus as black boxes with no regard to their linking activities and therefore do not provide decision makers with the reasons...

Structural changes in the gut microbiome of constipated patients.

Previous studies using culture-based methods suggested an association between constipation and altered abundance of certain taxa of the colonic microbiome. We aim to examine the global changes in gut microbial composition of constipated patients. A cross-sectional pilot study using 16S rRNA gene pyrosequencing was performed to compare stool microbial composition of eight constipated patients an...
